How Our Cushions Are Made!
You've seen how our canvases are made, so we thought we would show you how our next best selling product is manufactured.
Our cushions are printed in-house in our UK facility and hand sewn by our expert sewing team! Available in three different materials and three different sizes, our cushions are great for customisation!

The first thing that happens when a cushion order comes through to our system is sending it to the print queue. The cushion is printed onto a roll of heat transfer material along with the other cushions in that print batch.
Once the roll is finished printing it is sent to pressing, where the cushion image is transferred onto the selected cushion fabric - either faux suede, faux linen or canvas.
This process is called Dye Sublimation and is perfect for bold, vibrant colours that are printed to last.
After the cushion is finished in pressing it is sent to cutting, where it will be cut into cushion panels using state of the art, precision lasers. These are used to get a nice clean cut every time and to help avoid fraying edges.
Then it's passed to our sewing team!
Our expert sewing team take the cut cushions and match them with your chosen backing panel. They then check the cushion for any final misprints or issues and sew in the zip.
The cushions are then ready for their fillers!
Artovo cushion fillers are made from 100% polyester, non regenerated Virgin Fibre and complies with the BS 5852 Part 2.
Our fillers are sized up to ensure a full and squashy look that perfectly fills out the cushion cover!
Finally, our cushions are ready for packing!
Cushions are packaged in a clear plastic bag with a shipping note and then into a black postal bag.
Address labels are then stuck on the outside of the parcel and they are sent down to dispatch who sort them into the correct courier sections. They are then picked up and on their way to your customer!
